Three Pieces of Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware, Crawford County, GA origin, second half 19th century, a one-gallon Billy Bryant jug, stamped "BB"; a buggy jug with appealing form and celadon-colored glaze; and a small ovoid jug. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Bryant jug in essentially as-made condition with some piece of clay adhered to surface. Squat-shaped jug with a tight 1 1/2" crack on underside, extending 6" up front of jug. Small-sized jug in excellent condition with a small amount of in-the-firing residue to underside. H (of Bryant jug) 10 1/2".
