Four-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Incised Bird Decoration, Stamped "BEAUMONT POTTERY / YORK, MAINE", Incised "1985 / Jamie Weiss / J. Beaumont", ovoid jar with incised and cobalt-highlighted decoration of a bird with turned head, perched on the stem of a flowering plant. Incised drape decoration to shoulder. Brushed cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Underside with incised signature. Appealing form and decoration. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 15".
