Slip-Decorated Lidded Redware Tobacco Jar, English origin, late 19th century, cylindrical form with applied sawed limbs accented with yellow slip and heavily-incised bark throughout. A 1 1/4" reglued piece to lid. Minor nicks to edge of lid. A few chips and some wear to sawed limbs on jar. H (including lid) 6 1/2".
