Two Pieces of Stoneware with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped BROWN BROTHER , / HUNTINGTON, / L.I.", New York State origin, circa 1870-1885, a four-gallon ovoid churn with cobalt floral decoration, paired with a two-gallon jar with similar floral decoration. Provenance: Donald Matties Collection. Churn with restoration to base on front and reverse as well as a Y-shaped crack on underside and a small iron ping to shoulder. Jar with significant restoration, not affecting decoration.
