Two Pieces of Glazed Redware, Pennsylvania origin, circa 1875, a flowerpot with separate saucer and crimped embellishments, decorated with sponged manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze; paired with a small jar with splashed manganese decoration, covered in a clear lead glaze. Flowerpot in excellent condition with two chips to crimping on rim of pot and other minor wear. Jar with wear to rim and in-the-firing wrinkles to clay. H (of flowerpot including saucer) 5 1/2".
