Glazed Redware Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'", PA origin, circa 1850-1880, ovoid jar with squared rim, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze over an orange ground. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark at shoulder. Very nice condition with some staining, knife marks to base of interior, and a minor chip to bottom edge of rim. H 5 7/8".
