Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1880, ovoid-bodied pitcher with tall, slightly-flared collar, decorated in Albany slip with a sweeping fuchsia vine design across the body, dashes and a wavy stripe above, a stripe below, and draped brushwork along the rim. Stripe decoration to handle and Albany slip highlights to handle terminals. Excellent overall condition with some light wear to rim. H 6 5/8".
