Two Pieces of James Hamilton Stoneware, Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875, a half-gallon jar and half-gallon jug, both featuring James Hamilton & Co. maker's stenciling in cobalt slip. Jug with a large spout chip, two U-shaped cracks to base with associated chips, and some fry to edges of cobalt. Jar with a 2 1/2" hairline from rim.
