Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and wax sealer rim, decorated with two unusual star-like stenciled motifs between three freehand stripes. A few chips to exterior of rim. Heavy chipping to interior of rim. A tiny nick to inner wax sealer rim. H 8 1/2".
