Two One-Gallon White Family Stoneware Jars with Floral Decorations, New York State origin, circa 1885, an ovoid jar with brushed and slip-trailed cobalt vine design, stamped "WHITE & WOOD / BINGHAMTON, N.Y."; paired with a one-gallon cylindrical crock with brushed and slip-trailed cobalt flowering vine design, stamped "N.A. WHITE & SON. / UTICA, N.Y.". Provenance: David Musser Collection. White & Wood jar with a small chip to one handle, some other minor wear to both handles, as well as some in-the-firing darkening to left side. N.A. White crock with base chips, some of which are glazed over, as well as a small handle chip.
