Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "OTTMAN BRO'S / & CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.", circa 1875, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a large slip-trailed design of bird perched on a stylized branch. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Excellent condition with a tiny rim nick.
