Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Mug, Stamped "John Wygand / New York", attributed to the Whites Pottery, Utica, NY, late 19th century, with cobalt highlights to banding at the shoulder and base, as well as along the handle. Underside impressed "John Wygand / New York", beside an impressed number 2. Very nice condition with a 1 1/8" hairline from rim. H 5".
