One-Gallon Petersburg, VA Stoneware Advertising Jar, attributed to Warner & Russell, Bridgeport, WV, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising "CHINA PALACE. / C.G. TAYLOR / PETERSBURG. VA." Stenciled arrow motif at center. A 5 1/2" tight line on reverse. A small glazed-over line at base on front.
