Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Butter Crock, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a graduated swag between two freehand stripes. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a glazed-over stone ping to rim.
