Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, slender-bodied, ovoid pitcher with tall flaring collar, the body decorated in Albany slip with a sweeping fuchsia vine design above a freehand stripe, the collar decorated with brushed drapes above freehand flourishes and a series of spots. Handle decorated with brushed stripes. Restoration to underside. A very minor spout nick. H 7".
