Sgraffito Redware Plate with Peacock Decoration, attributed to Jacob Medinger, Limerick Township, Montgomery County, PA, early 20th century, with coggled edge, the interior featuring a sgraffito decoration of a peacock atop a flowering plant along with sponged copper and manganese accents throughout. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, from a Pennsylvania collection amassed during the mid 20th century. A 1 1/2" crack from edge. Two minor flakes along edge and a minor nick to edge. Diameter 8 3/4".
