One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Star Decoration, Stamped "N. White. Utica.", New York State origin, circa 1840, highly ovoid jug with semi-squared spout, decorated with a stylized brushed star over the maker's mark. Provenance: David Musser Collection. Spout chips. Otherwise excellent, essentially as-made condition.
