Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Wreath Decoration, Stamped "BURGER & CO. / ROCHESTER N.Y.", circa 1875, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with an artistic slip-trailed design of a wreath with bow at base, surrounding the number 2. Brushed cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Provenance: David Musser Collection. Excellent condition with a minor chip to one handle.
