One-Gallon Stoneware Cream Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA", circa 1865, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with a brushed drooping tulip design. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Provenance: David Musser Collection. A shallow 3/4" rim chip on reverse. Some light staining to surface.
