Slip-Decorated Redware "ABC" Plate, Norwalk, CT origin, circa 1840, with coggled edge, the interior decorated in yellow slip with the cursive letters "ABC", underscored with a curved line. Provenance: Collected in the Long Island, New York area. Heavy chipping to rim. Small flakes and surface wear to interior. Diameter 10 1/8".
