Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "J.E. ENEIX / NEW GENEVA / PA", circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded wax sealer rim, featuring J.E. ENEIX maker's stenciling flanked by leafy accents. Freehand stripe below rim. A 1 1/8" inverted Y-shaped line from rim on front, which occurred in the firing. Small shallow chips to interior of rim. A minor nick to inner wax sealer rim. Some minor in-the-firing chipping to base. H 8 1/2".
