Two Stoneware Bottles, Inscribed in Cobalt "Post", Poughkeepsie, NY origin, third quarter 19th century, both of cylindrical form with tapered spout, inscribed "Post" in slip-trailed cobalt. Taller bottle with a spout chip, a shallow chip to underside at edge, and a small in-the-firing contact mark to shoulder. Shorter bottle with surface wear and some staining. H (of taller bottle) 10 3/4".
