Rare Miniature Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bust Portrait, Akron Stoneware Company, Akron, OH, circa 1900, molded jug with Bristol-slip-glazed surface, decorated with a brushed cobalt bust portrait of a bearded man with jacket and bow tie. Decoration appears to depict President James Garfield, although his death date of 1881 is probably too early for this jug. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 3 1/4".
