Two Stoneware Jars with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to David Parr, Jr., Richmond, VA third quarter 19th century, a two-gallon ovoid jar with tulip decoration on front and reverse, paried with a two-gallon cylindrical jar with tulip decoration around shoulder. Ovoid jar with cracks, primarily in underside, and very large reglued section at base, a loss to one handle, rim chips, and firing flaws including large contact marks. Cylindrical jar with large, wide top-to-base crack, crazing to surface, and minor rim and base chips.
