Two One-Gallon Pfaltzgraff Stoneware Jugs, York, PA origin, circa 1855-1889, one with cobalt tulip decoration, stamped "PFALTZGRAFF & CO. / YORK, PA," probably John Pfaltzgraff; paired with another with hanging tulip design, stamped "H B PFALTZGRAFF / YORK PA". Pfaltzgraff & Co. jug with large base chip on reverse, staining, and an in-the-making vertical scratch to shoulder area. H B Pfaltzgraff jug in excellent condition with staining.
