One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, attributed to J.M. Harris, Easton, PA, circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with an X-shaped floral spray on the front. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Iron ping to rim. Minor chip on interior of rim. Shallow chipping to both handles. Minor, glazed-over spot of glaze wear, which occurred in the firing.
