Rare Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stamped "J.P. PARKER," Greenwood Township, Montour County, PA, circa 1850, cylindrical jar with heavily-tooled shoulder and rounded rim, featuring the lightly-impressed mark "J.P. PARKER" at the shoulder. Crack at base, continuing 3" onto underside. 4" hairline to shoulder. Faint 5" line extending from shoulder to midsection. Otherwise excellent condition. H 13".
