Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1830, a one-gallon ovoid jug, featuring the scarce, cobalt-highlighted maker's mark, "T CRAFTS / WHATELY," Massachusetts origin; paired with a two-gallon jar with cobalt leaf design, stamped "CLARK & FOX / ATHENS," New York State origin. Crafts jug in excellent condition with some light staining. Clark & Fox jar with shallow chipping around rim, and a 2" hairline on underside, continuing 4" up reverse of jar.
