Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, mid 19th century, ovoid pitcher with flared base and tooled collar, decorated with a brushed cobalt swag and flower design around the body. Circumference of collar decorated with brushed swags. Large cobalt circles around handle terminals. Large base chips. Hairline across underside, which continues a few inches onto base in two places. 2 1/2" salt drip on reverse. 1" chipped area on side of rim. Chip to side of spout. Short, very minor line from rim.
