Cobalt-Decorated Duck Sander, Seagrove, NC origin, second quarter 20th century, hand-modeled figure of a duck or goose with applied eyes and cobalt highlights, its breast with pierced holes for use as a salt & pepper shaker or ink sander. Hollow underside. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a salt drip to underside. H 4" ; L 5 1/2".
