Three Stoneware Jars, Stamped "H.B. PFALTZGRAFF / YORK, PA," circa 1870-89, three, four, and five gallon jars, all with hanging floral decoration and cobalt highlights to maker's and capacity marks. Three-gallon jar with long crack from rim on right side of front, heavy chipping to rim, Long Y-shaped crack from rim on reverse, handle chips, and a base chip. Four-gallon crock with large curving crack from rim extending from side of jar to reverse, large salt drip to reverse, and large rim chip. Five-gallon jar with several cracks from rim, rim chip on reverse, and four base chips, two of which are fairly large and appear to be in-the-firing.
