Tanware Pitcher, Western PA origin, fourth quarter 19th century, ovoid pitcher with rounded collar molding and flared opening, decorated in Albany slip with freehand vining and stripes. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, purchased by the consignor's wife in the 1930s and 1940s. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 5".
