Tanware Pitcher, Western PA origin, fourth quarter 19th century, slender-bodied, ovoid pitcher with tall flaring collar, decorated with a brushed Albany slip fuchsia design around the body. Collar decorated with brushed drapes at rim and dots at base. Stripes brushed along handle. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, recently found in Western PA. Excellent condition with two miniscule nicks to spout. H 6 3/4".
