Molded Stoneware BARDWELL'S ROOT BEER Canteen, attributed to the Whites Pottery, Utica, NY, late 19th century, Bristol-slip-glazed canteen with embossed advertising for "BARDWELL'S ROOT BEER" on one side, the reverse with relief elk scene. Cobalt highlights throughout. Includes wood and wire bail handle. Chip to one ear. Two small in-the-firing chips / contact marks to advertising side. 1/8" line in spout. H (to top of spout) 11 1/8".
