One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, New Jersey origin, circa 1875, ovoid pitcher with footed base and short, nicely-tooled collar, decorated on the front with a cobalt flower hanging from a curled, leafy stem. Additional cobalt accents to handle terminals. Hairline through middle of handle. Short, in-the-firing separation line on interior of spout, not visible on the exterior. Minor 1 1/4" surface line from rim, not visible on interior.
