Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Bottles, Northeastern U.S., second half 19th century, a molded, multi-sided bottle with cobalt X design, stamped "STEINMETZ," paired by a small bottle with cobalt-highlighted shoulder, marked "S.B BLISS". Steinmetz bottle with chipping to base and an in-the-firing shallow chip to top of spout. Bliss bottle with large base chips and a flake to underside. H (of small bottle) 6 3/4".
