Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Mug with Impressed Decoration, attributed to the White's Pottery, Utica, NY, late 19th century, molded mug with impressed scene of foxes chasing a man strapped to the back of a horse. Trees and rising sun to the left. Geometric banding at base. Molded handle with raised acanthus leaf motif. Cobalt highlights to decoration and handle. Impressed "27" on underside. Excellent condition. H 4 1/2".
