Two Pieces of Glazed Redware, American, 19th century, an early 19th century New England redware jug with tooled shoulder, narrow spout, and applied strap handle, the lead-glazed surface with nice orange and rust-colored mottling; paired with a milkpan with rounded sides, flattened rim, and lead-glazed interior, probably New England. Jug with damage to side of handle, wear to spout, base chips, a few small glaze flakes near base, and a reglued sliver to foot at base. Milkpan with wear to interior. H (of jug) 11 1/4".
