Glazed Redware Jar with Copper Slip Decoration, probably New England, early 19th century, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and flared rim, decorated with slashes of copper-augmented yellow slip over a mottled, rust-colored ground. Reglued section to rim and shoulder area, with coloring along repair as well as coloring to glaze loss along rim. Some additional light wear to shoulder. Some flakes to surface at base. Minor base wear. H 8 1/2".
