Two Pieces of Salt-Glazed Stoneware, Northeastern U.S., 19th century, a two-gallon jar, inscribed "2" in cobalt with flourish below, paired with a three-gallon crock with cobalt flower blossom decoration, inscribed "3" below. Three-gallon in essentially as-made crock with stone ping to based and fry to cobalt. Two-gallon jar with cracks and rim chips. Rim secured with string.
