Rare Lidded Redware Jar with Copper Decoration, probably Mid-Atlantic origin, late 18th or early 19th century, ovoid jar with flared base and applied handle, decorated with green copper slashes over a bright yellow ground. Original domed lid with acorn-shaped finial and similar glazing. Excellent color. Jar with wear to rim and areas of glaze loss to body and handle. Lid in excellent condition. H (including lid) 7".
