Unusual Salt-Glazed Stoneware Seedling Flowerpot, Northeastern U.S. origin, late 19th century, tapered with tall rim, drain hole in underside, and Albany-slip-glazed interior, decorated with three circumferential cobalt stripes. Essentially as-made condition. Two small in-the-firing base chips. In-the-firing separation line extending down one side, partially visible on interior. Other firing flaws. H 3 1/8".
