One-Gallon Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "J.D. CRAVEN," Randolph and Moore Counties, North Carolina, second half 19th century, cylindrical jug with rounded shoulder, tall spout, and very wide, ribbed strap handle with incised X at terminal. Impressed with the maker's mark of Jacob Dorris Craven on the shoulder. Excellent condition. H 11 1/4".
