Maysvile, KY Stoneware Advertising Jug, Western PA origin, circa 1875, ovoid jug with tooled spout, featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising "G.A. & J.E. McCarthy / Maysville, Ky". Slightly sunken area of right side near base. Contact marks to shoulder. A few small spout chips. Two small base chips on reverse. H 11 1/2".
