Albany-Slip-Glazed Stoneware Harvest Jug with Molded Decorations, Ohio origin, late 19th century, domed form with wide and narrow pouring spout, the front decorated with a large molded acanthus, and reverse and sides with molded leaves. Elaborate molded handle with twisted edge and molded leaf and floral designs where the handle meets the body. Desirable form. Provenance: From a thirty-five year Western PA collection. Excellent condition with a minor chip on interior of narrower spout. H (to top of handle) 9 1/4".
