Scarce Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "J.C. THOMAS / TRENTON, NJ," late 19th century, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and squared spout, decorated with a stylized cobalt floral design. Provenance: Laurence Fish Estate, Trenton, NJ. Excellent condition with minor in-the-firing rim nicks and a 2" line near base, probably in-the-firing. H 13 3/4".
