Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Chicken Pecking Corn Decoration, New York State origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt chicken pecking kernels of corn from a stylized patch of ground. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. As-made condition with a chip on interior of rim. H 10 1/2".
