Two-Gallon Ovoid Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J.F. BRAYTON / UTICA," NY State origin, circa 1830, highly ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, tall collar, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt flower on the front. Excellent condition with two small chips on exterior of rim, a few small chips and minor separation on interior of rim, and a small handle chip. H 11 1/2".
