Four-Gallon Detroit, MI Stoneware Jug with Bristol Slip Glaze, probably Midwestern origin, late 19th century, a four-gallon jug with hexagonal spigot, featuring the dark blue words "GEO. NORRIS & CO. / DETROIT, MICH. / REGISTERED." Shoulder marked with a black "4". Near mint condition with a small spout chip and a minor 1/2" line at base on reverse. H 14 1/4".
