Two Pieces of Mid-Atlantic Stoneware, 19th century, a cylindrical jar with rounded rim and cobalt leaf decoration, Baltimore, MD, circa 1825; paired with a one-gallon jar with cobalt floral design, attributed to Richard Remmey of Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875. Baltimore jar in excellent condition with some faint lines in body that do not extend through to interior. Philadelphia jar with traces of black paint on surface and significant restoration, including some of decoration. H (of Baltimore jar) 7 3/4".
